Basketball Recap: Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Takes a Loss

If Wyndmere/Lidgerwood was feeling good fresh off their 61-41 takedown of Ellendale last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wyndmere/Lidgerwood Warbirds took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hankinson Pirates on Monday. The Warbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Wyndmere/Lidgerwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Wyndmere/Lidgerwood has already played their next matchup, a 54-30 loss against LaMoure/Litchville-Marion on the 10th. As for Hankinson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 45-27 defeat against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] on the 10th.
