Patriot proved they can win big last Friday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Riverbend Bears, sneaking past 3-1. The Pioneers haven't had any issues with the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Patriot now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Riverbend, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patriot will host Osbourn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Patriot's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Riverbend, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Orange County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
