American extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 5-18 in the process. They lost 10-0 to the James Logan Colts. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for James Logan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-6-1. Considering they have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

For James Logan's part, Gabriella Garcia was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Garcia has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Ava Medellin and Janessa Parras did most of the damage at the plate: Medellin went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Parras went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits Medellin has posted since back in April. Caylee Ledesma was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
