Baseball Recap: Benjamin Franklin Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Benjamin Franklin's offense. They came up short against the San Tan Charter Roadrunners on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 8-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Benjamin Franklin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Fierstein, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Benjamin Franklin and nudges their season record down to 1-3-1. As for San Tan Charter, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, Benjamin Franklin will venture away from home to take on Page at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for San Tan Charter, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Madison Highland Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
