John Paul the Great Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Northshore V Vultures 74-0. Fans of the Guardians have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

John Paul the Great Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniel Charpentier, who rushed for 82 yards and three TDs, and also threw for 28 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Charpentier has posted since back in August of 2024. Another back making a difference was Riley Lormand, who rushed for 60 yards and three scores.

John Paul the Great Academy's record now sits at 7-0. As for Northshore V, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, John Paul the Great Academy will venture away from home to square off against First Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northshore V, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Southwest Louisiana HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on October 4.
