Basketball Recap: Middleton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Middleton extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were outmatched by the Strawberry Crest Chargers and fell 68-20. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Middleton lost, don't look at AZARIAH JOHNSON. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of JALIYAH PRAY, who scored two points and seven rebounds.

As for Strawberry Crest, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their 15-point performance the game before.

Strawberry Crest's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Khloe Overstreet, who dropped a triple-double with 18 points, ten assists, and ten steals. Overstreet is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least five every time she's taken the court this season. Emerald Swain was another key player, going 11-for-14 en route to 22 points in addition to eight boards and five steals.

Middleton has already played their next matchup (against Blake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Strawberry Crest, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 30-21 defeat against Lennard on the 3rd.
