Softball Recap: Benjamin Logan Comes Up Short

Benjamin Logan might've scored the first runs on Thursday, but it was Indian Lake who claimed the real prize. The Raiders fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 5-4. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lakers earlier this season, when they won 7-1.

Nevaeh Fogle made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Rylan Norviel was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Benjamin Logan's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Indian Lake, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-15.

Benjamin Logan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian Lake, they will take on Brookville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lakers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
