Baseball Game Preview: Rock Creek Mustangs vs. Boswell Scorpions

Rock Creek hasn't had much luck against Boswell recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Rock Creek is taking a road trip to square off against Boswell at 4:30 p.m.

Rock Creek is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Caney on Monday. They lost 10-1 to the Cougars.

Rock Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryder Ribera, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Boswell waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Scorpions have posted since April 17, 2024.

Boswell's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Rock Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Rock Creek might still be hurting after the 12-3 loss they got from Boswell when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Rock Creek avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
