Saturday just wasn't the day for Ben Bolt's offense. They came up short against the Poth Pirates on Saturday, falling 16-0. The defeat leaves the Badgers still looking for their first win of the season.

Ben Bolt's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Poth, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Ben Bolt will head out to challenge San Diego at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. San Diego's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Ben Bolt's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Poth, they will take on Rockport-Fulton in a tournament on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Rockport-Fulton 2.9, Poth 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
