The Great Bridge Wildcats will square off against the Hickory Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Great Bridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.

Hickory will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Great Bridge extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Wildcats' defense stepped up to hand Western Branch a 2-0 shutout. Great Bridge's winning goal came courtesy of Landon Mainer.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Hickory made sure to put some goals up on the board against King's Fork on Thursday. They blew past the Bulldogs 5-0. The win continues a trend for Hickory in their matchups with King's Fork: they've now won eight in a row.

The victory got Hickory back to even at 4-4. As for Great Bridge, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-2.

Great Bridge came out on top in a nail-biter against Hickory in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
