Swartz Creek has gone 8-2 against Brandon recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 1:45 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Swartz Creek suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 4-2. As for Brandon, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Swartz Creek didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Brandon when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 45-41 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Swartz Creek since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
