Basketball Recap: Jasper Takes a Loss

Jasper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns, falling 56-18. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1256th, while the Longhorns are ranked 437th).

Jasper's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Hamshire-Fannett, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.
