Soccer Recap: Sam Rayburn's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Sam Rayburn was the 4-0 winner over South Houston when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sam Rayburn Texans fell 2-0 to the South Houston Trojans on Friday. The Texans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sam Rayburn's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3. As for South Houston, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sam Rayburn will host Alvin at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. As for South Houston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manvel at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
