Volleyball Recap: Harlandale Beats Burbank for Their Third Straight Win

Harlandale had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Burbank Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Harlandale easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Mia Padron paced Harlandale's offense, picking up seven kills. Padron got some help from Jenna Sandoval and her 23 assists. Mia Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win got Harlandale back to even at 5-5. As for Burbank, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-6.

Harlandale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against McCollum on the 23rd. Burbank has also already played their next matchup (against St. Anthony), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
