Softball Recap: Ozark Edges Past Kickapoo

If Kickapoo was riding high off their 19-2 takedown of Camdenton on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs fell just short of the Ozark Tigers by a score of 9-7 on Thursday.

Kickapoo's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Ozark, the win improved their record to 13-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kickapoo will take on their in-conference opponent Nixa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ozark is set to square off against their familiar foe Branson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
