Basketball Recap: Oakwood Takes a Loss

Oakwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 47-39 to the Neches Tigers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-29 back in January.

Oakwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Neches, they now have a winning record of 14-13.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Trinidad the next time they take the court. Neches will host Trinidad at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Oakwood will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
