Basketball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield suffered their biggest defeat since December 14, 2023 on Monday. They were beaten by the White River Valley Wildcats 88-32. The Cosmos have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Springfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for White River Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.

Coming up, Springfield will head out to square off against Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Twin Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Springfield likes a good challenge. As for White River Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Green Mountain at 7:00 p.m.
