Softball Recap: Gladstone Gladiators vs. The Dalles Riverhawks

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Gladstone ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out The Dalles Riverhawks 4-3. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 23, 2025, but that streak is no more.

Ashlynne Franssen made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 17 batters over ten innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.
