Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rumson-Fair Haven). Everything went their way against the Shore Regional Blue Devils on Saturday as the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs made off with a 61-38 win. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blue Devils, too.

When it comes to explaining why Shore Regional lost, don't look at Reese Fiore. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points. Fiore has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Emma Madison was another key player, putting up six points and five boards.

Rumson-Fair Haven now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Shore Regional, they moved to 11-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rumson-Fair Haven won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Paul VI at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Paul VI will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something Rumson-Fair Haven surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shore Regional, they will host Colts Neck at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
