Volleyball Recap: Three Rivers' Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Three Rivers came into Tuesday's contest having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Pettus Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 11th (when they won 3-0).

While Three Rivers won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-14, 25-17.

Three Rivers' win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Pettus, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Coming up, Three Rivers will be playing in front of their home fans against Nixon-Smiley at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pettus, they will head out on the road to square off against Agua Dulce at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
