Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Marshall

The Lincoln Mustangs will challenge the Marshall Phoenix at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lincoln's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lincoln gave up the first goal last Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They beat Washington by a goal, winning 2-1. The result kept the Mustangs happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 9th.

Meanwhile, Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of San Francisco International.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Lincoln, the win got them back to even at 4-4-4.
