Waupaca extended their postseason success on Saturday against Lakeland. They came out on top against the Thunderbirds by a score of 3-1. Winning may never get old, but the Comets sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 19-25, 25-15, 25-20.

Among those leading the charge was Sage Soto, who had nine digs and three aces.

Soto wasn't the only good servers: Waupaca was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in ten consecutive matchups.

Waupaca's win bumped their record up to 25-10. As for Lakeland, their loss dropped their record down to 21-13.

Looking ahead, Waupaca will head out on the road to face off against Mosinee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
