East Palestine is 1-9 against United since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Golden Eagles at 5:00 p.m. East Palestine is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Last Thursday, East Palestine didn't have quite enough to beat Toronto and fell 5-4.

Kennedy Andre put in work no matter where she played. She tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Maddison Foster was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Sydney Jurjavcic was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, United put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Ravenna with a sharp 13-1 victory. The Golden Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

United pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 14.6 runs this season. As for East Palestine, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
