Johnson got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Clark went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that Clark has hit this season. Lillian Jones was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Colton-Pierrepont had to start their season on the road back in April, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against Brushton-Moira, falling 14-7.

Brushton-Moira's win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4. As for Colton-Pierrepont, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Brushton-Moira took their victory against Colton-Pierrepont in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 14-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
