Jefferson waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Sioux City North Stars a 1-0 shutout. Jefferson's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Taelin Minor, who's now up to four this season.

Jefferson's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3-2. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for Sioux City North, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson will take on Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sioux City North, they will challenge Harris-Lake Park at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
