Softball Recap: Pilot Point Comes Up Short

Pilot Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Boyd Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 back in March.

Pilot Point's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Boyd, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pilot Point and Boyd will both be playing Callisburg the next time they take the field. The Bearcats will host the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Yellowjackets will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
