Soccer Recap: Milpitas Snags Sixth Win in Last Eight Games

Milpitas kept a clean sheet against Latino College Preparatory Academy on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Latino College Preparatory Academy Golden Eagles. The Trojans' winning goal came courtesy of Luqman Abas.

Milpitas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Latino College Preparatory Academy's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-1.

Coming up, Milpitas will challenge Silver Creek at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Silver Creek's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Latino College Preparatory Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
