Volleyball Recap: Lauren Helmer Key Part of Team Effort in Wildcats Win + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Tomball Memorial took on A&M Consolidated on Friday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Tigers last Friday, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

One reason for the win was Tomball Memorial's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-19.

Tomball Memorial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lauren Helmer, who had 13 digs and three assists. Helmer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Maysen Pauze, who had eight digs and two aces.
