Volleyball Recap: Concordia Comes Up Short

Concordia lost against Smoky Valley back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Concordia was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 19 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19.

Jaylin Roush paced Concordia's offense, picking up ten kills. Roush got some help from Rylie Jessup and her 12 assists.

Concordia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Smoky Valley, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6.

Concordia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Circle on the 13th. As for Smoky Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Beloit on the 13th.
