Pleasanton has gone a perfect 7-0 against Hondo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Pleasanton take on Hondo at 5:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Pleasanton's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Hondo has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Pleasanton is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Pearsall get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mavericks: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hondo's offense. They came up short against Uvalde on Tuesday, falling 5-0. That's two games in a row now that the Owls have lost by exactly five goals.

Hondo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Pleasanton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
