It was a good run, but Dobie unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pearland Oilers. The Longhorns were not able to make up for their defeat to the Oilers from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Eliseo Molina made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Dobie now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Pearland, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

While Dobie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
