Baseball Recap: Upstate Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Upstate won the last time they faced Asheville T and things went their way on Saturday too. Upstate was the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over Asheville T. The Eagles not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 8, 2024.

Jesse Beckwith was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

Upstate's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Asheville T, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Upstate wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 9-7 win against Anderson C on the 17th. As for Asheville T, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-4 victory against Statesville Christian on the 17th.
