Baseball Recap: Jarrell Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lorena, Jarrell was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the ISBL Austin Waves as the Jarrell Cougars made off with a 10-1 victory. Considering the Cougars' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Jarrell's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for ISBL Austin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars face off against the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. ISBL Austin will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on University at 1:00 p.m. on March 8th.
