Baseball Recap: Hamilton Southeastern Takes a Loss

Hamilton Southeastern lost against Westfield back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Royals fell just short of the Shamrocks by a score of 7-6. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson Bixler made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Trey McManama was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Hamilton Southeastern's loss dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Westfield, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-8.

While Hamilton Southeastern had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
