Rock Hill extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 8-9 in the process. They skirted past the Ironton Fighting Tigers 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Redmen have posted against the Fighting Tigers since May 2, 2022.

As for Ironton, with the loss, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat they have suffered since May 1, 2024.

For Ironton's part, Ava Bihl spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. Bihl has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aubrey Ferguson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
