Baseball Recap: Las Vegas Falls Short Against Ranked Shadow Ridge

Las Vegas faced Shadow Ridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Wildcats have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

GAGE MCCOWN made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was BRYDEN BULL, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Shadow Ridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.
