It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oxford can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lynnfield Pioneers by a score of 5-4 on Friday. The Pirates' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Oxford's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Lynnfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Oxford nor Lynnfield have any future games scheduled.
