Volleyball Recap: Schulenburg Takes a Loss

Schulenburg was the 2-0 winner over Weimar when they last played one another last Friday, but their luck changed this time around. The Shorthorns fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The Shorthorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Schulenburg started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Schulenburg's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Weimar, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Coming up, Schulenburg will face off against Iola at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weimar, they will welcome Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
