Basketball Game Preview: Palisades Pumas vs. Huss Huskies + How To Watch

The Palisades Pumas will head out on the road to challenge the Huss Huskies at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Palisades beat Northwestern 54-46.

Brighton Lester was nothing short of spectacular: he went 7-for-16 to rack up 26 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Micah VanFossen, who posted seven points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Huss entered their tilt with Covenant Day on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by an 81-55 margin over the Lions. The Huskies' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Palisades better focus on containing Zaiyir 'Zii' Phillips and Jaleel Smith as the pair were huge in Huss' win. Phillips shot 57% from the field on his way to 22 points along with seven assists and six steals, while Smith dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 assists. Thanks to that strong game, Phillips now owns an excellent 47.3% field goal percentage. Kamari Falls also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Huss was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Huss' record now sits at 3-1. As for Palisades, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
