Basketball Recap: Elgin Drops Season-High Score on Pine Eagle

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elgin). They strolled past the Pine Eagle Spartans with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 62-47. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Elgin's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Pine Eagle, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Elgin has already played their next match, a 52-28 loss against Prairie City/Burnt River on the 25th. As for Pine Eagle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-46 defeat against Wallowa on the 25th.
