Baseball Recap: Hingham Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plymouth North, Hingham was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers by a score of 9-4. The Harbormen haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Hingham now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hingham will challenge Braintree at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Harbormen 3.8, the Wamps 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they will take on Silver Lake Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
