Football Game Preview: Kennewick Lions vs. Enumclaw Hornets + How To Watch

The Kennewick Lions will challenge the Enumclaw Hornets at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Saturday, everything came up roses for Kennewick against West Seattle as the squad secured a 35-7 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Lions had established a 21-point advantage.

Meanwhile, Enumclaw got the win against Shorewood on Friday by a conclusive 42-20. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Kennewick better focus on containing Gavin Trachte and Maddox Hendrickson as the pair were huge in Enumclaw's win. Trachte threw for 106 yards and one TD on only nine passes, while Hendrickson rushed for 36 yards and one score.

Enumclaw was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 266 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shorewood only rushed for 126.

The victory made it two in a row for Kennewick and bumps their season record up to 8-2. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 38.5 points. As for Enumclaw, their record is now 9-1.

Kennewick took their win against Enumclaw in their previous matchup back in November of 2024 by a conclusive 40-20 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
