Gibsonburg came tearing into Monday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Danbury Lakers by a score of 12-7. The Golden Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lakers, too.

Gibsonburg's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Danbury, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
