Eureka waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marquette Mustangs, sneaking past 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 12-0 win two weeks ago.

Eureka's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-12. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Marquette, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-14.

Eureka has already played their next contest, a 7-6 defeat against Parkway South on the 24th. Marquette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
