Soccer Game Preview: Queen Creek vs. Red Mountain

The Queen Creek Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Red Mountain Mountain Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Queen Creek's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Queen Creek took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Skyline 2-1. The Bulldogs wouldn't have won without Ray Palacios, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Red Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Liberty, falling 5-0.

Queen Creek now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Red Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
