Geraldine made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fyffe, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Geraldine Bulldogs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Fyffe Red Devils a 6-0 shutout on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won four contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Kennedy Cook made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with two RBI.
