Baseball Recap: Person Has No Trouble Against South Granville

Person lost to South Granville back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Person Rockets were the clear victor by a 13-1 margin over the South Granville Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

Brady Holmes and Gavin Dodson did most of the damage at the plate: Holmes scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Dodson scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Holmes a new career-high in doubles (two). Jackson Riggan was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Person always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Granville only posted an OBP of .375.
