Football Recap: West Morris Mendham Comes Up Short

West Morris Mendham was the 28-0 winner over Montville when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The matchup between the Minutemen and the Mustangs didn't end well, with the Minutemen falling 24-7. The Minutemen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rocco Racioppi threw for 63 yards on six of 11 attempts. Owen Lieberwirth was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards.

West Morris Mendham's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Montville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. West Morris Mendham will challenge Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montville, they will take on Morris Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
