Baseball Recap: Woodinville Comes Up Short

Woodinville fell victim to Jackson and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberwolves. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Timberwolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Woodinville's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-12. Those road defeats can't be blamed on the team's pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Jackson, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Woodinville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jackson, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against North Creek on the 10th.
