Makenzie Henthorn was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Shyanne Sellers was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Mark Morris' win bumped their record up to 26-2. As for Lynden, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-9.

Mark Morris didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-1 victory against Tumwater on the 24th. Lynden does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
